I had Jury Duty last week and I got picked to be on the Jury. It was so much fun...not really.
Listening to the witnesses was interesting but then we had to deliberate and that was not fun. Trying to get 12 people from different walks of like to agree on a verdict is no easy task. The trial lasted about 4 hours and it took 5 hours to come to an agreement.
Overall it was a good experience.

sweater: F21, skirt: BRFS, heels: Sole Society, clutch: MK via New to You Boutique

The likelihood that I'll be wearing this clutch to church is slim to none. However I just bought this at a boutique near my home and I had to share! I'd been in this store a couple of times but mostly I've looked at clothes. It's lots of floral printed midi skirts, sequins, and jewelry...lots of costume jewelry. There's other stuff but those are always the first things I see.
Today I looked a little closer and found some Coach bags, Marc Jacobs bags, and a couple MK's. I picked this up looked at the price and then put it down. Looked around some more then came back to this clutch. I had just come from the MK Outlet store drooling over the beautiful bags at $200-$500. I really wanted to take one home so finding this one at the boutique was a total win-win!
This clutch is the perfect cognac color with the tassels and other details. I love it!

I'm been searching for nude pointed pumps for a while. I knew I'd eventually find them somewhere for a decent price. These beauties I purchased at Ross for $24.99, BCBG brand. I shared on IG (@methodclothe) a couple of days ago. This blazer I bought as a look for less that I posted about here. If you haven't heard of Groopdealz go check it out. AND can I saw how amazing this crossbody/clutch is...only $14.99 at Ross. LOVE IT!

First off I have to say I saw Christine in Color wearing the Biance Tassel Necklace on IG this morning and I had to copy and wear mine too!

I recently bought some products from Clinique. I'm not much of a beauty product shopper. I'd rather spend my money on clothes. However I really hate wearing lipstick. Usually I wear just a tinted gloss or good ole chapstick. I was starting to feel like I could use some color on my lips. I asked my sister about Clinique. She worked at a Clinique counter at Macy's for a little while. She suggested the Chubby Stick. I picked two colors. Curvy Candy and Mighty Mimosa. These are pretty soft pinks. I really like is product. Not too much color but definitely moisturizing. I plan to buy more like Whole Lotta Honey and probably one of the reds.
The next thing I was in need of was mascara. I've used Cover Girl and Maybelline in the past. I usually end up buying the mascara that lumps my lashes. I hate that! So I bought the High Lengths Mascara in black. I've used it a handful of times now and it's exactly what I wanted. The lashes don't clump rather it colors all the lashes and makes them look longer. The brush was a little awkward to use at first but overall I've very happy with this mascara.

top & cardi: BRFS, jeans: thrifted, shoes: converse slip on, bag: Coach Factory, jewels: Stella & Dot

This is the only picture that looked ok today. Maybe it was the fact that I didn't really finish blow drying my hair or maybe because I normally don't pose with a bag. Or could it be that I just look awkward in colored denim. Let's face it I'm not in my early twenties anymore haha. Colored denim is definitely something I've been afraid of.
I've seen some gals on IG always posting about their amazing finds at thrift stores and then a light bulb finally went off in my head! I could shop for trends and spend a fraction of the price. So I did! Last saturday I went to two thift stores. Normally I walk in and walk out having bought nothing but I was determined to find SOMETHING. And I did! I bought these jeans. They are Pink Celebrity brand which I've seen at Marshalls but I only paid $5.99. They have a cute zipper detail at the ankle that I totally love. (If I was a DIY'er I'd put zippers on all my jeans.)
So for $5.99 these were worth it.

ALSO I paid attention to my clothing budget this month. I'm happy to report that I spent a total of
$195 on clothing and shoes this month.
