I picked up this fun skirt about a week or two ago at BRFS on clearance with a coupon. I wasn't sure about it. It's a little longer in length than I normally would wear and it's navy. I have always had issues with navy skirts. I really have a hard time pulling from my closet to pair them with anything. I thought this denim western top from J.Crew Factory would be unexpected so I went for it and of course the gorgeous wedges perfect for fall. You might see this outfit again in the near future, changed up just slightly.
I'm kinda loving this look.

The other day I was looking at this post on Pink Peonies and I fell in love with her oxblood wedges. The pointed toe, the leather, the color, the wedge...perfection.
I took a trip to Marshall's on Wednesday looking for a fauz fur vest. Someone told me Marshall's had a good selection. I think it might have been Harley & Jane anyway they did have some cute faux fur vests but I didn't get one. I walked over to Ross and when straight for the shoes. That's where I normally start in Ross and I found these beauties. The almond toe, the suede, the color, the wedge... close to perfection so I bought them.

Last night I stopped by Old Navy. I found something I really loved in the little girls section...
Faux Fur Vest
It was so adorable. I didn't buy it for my daughter and I should have!
After I saw it I ran back over to the women's section to see if I had missed a fur vest while causally walking though.
An employee asked if I needed help finding anything. I told her what I was looking for she was like oh sorry we don't have that. Well of course you don't Old Navy your little girls clothes is more on trend than your women's clothes.

I have not been good about taking pictures of the kids lately aside from them sneaking in my photos. This was just a day trip we took to Yucaipa with some friends.
We eat some yummy food, make some apple cidar, and then ate some more yummy food.
It was a good food day!

I was in serious despair on Tuesday night and all day wednesday. I felt sad for friends and family who have been struggling these last 4 years. I felt sad for this country. We will be missing out on a great leader. I know that Mitt Romney wanted to serve us, the American people, to make this country a better and brighter place for us and our children.
Now we have to live with the choice the majority has made. It's a hard pill to swallow.

I've been wearing quite a bit of green and blue lately. My everyday wear and on sundays. I like how it looks with these leopard heels that I just can't stop wearing.
