This year my tree wasn't all I was hoping for. Oh well. Always time to improve it next year.

 

 I have been so busy these last couple of weeks! I became a Stella & Dot Stylist. I am trying to get my little business off the ground and make it successful! When I was a kid I always wanted to do something with fashion. I thought my only option was to work at a retail store and that never happened. I graduated from college and started my job at a respiratory therapist. I've been doing that for over 7 years. It has allowed a great lifestyle for me and my family. It's been good for us. However, whenever the holidays approached I often thought about how fun it would be to work a short seasonal job at BRFS or some other store. My husband said I would hate it and that's as far as it would go.

 

Here's where Stella & Dot comes in. As I have been looking at more and more style blogs lately I kept seeing this cute bracelet. The Renegade Cluster Bracelet. I totally fell in love with it and I'd never heard of Stella & Dot before. I just went looking around the website and found tons more stuff I like!

Old Navy has some fun new fall arrivals. I'm excited for cooler weather because HONESTLY I can't handle this 100' heat anymore. I'm over it. We went on a little day trip to the beach. It was a beautiful day for pictures however I didn't get much of my kids. No cooperation on their part.

I'm normally not so behind when it comes to posting outfit pics. I took these friday before our date. We had a quick sushi dinner and than off to see Rock of Ages. I enjoyed the movie but I think it could have done with some of the more sexualized scenes. Other than that the music was fun and characters were enjoyable to watch.

This article made me laugh. "Socks + sexy pumps = identity crisis" baaahahahahahaha!!!

I have been a little neglectful these past two weeks. I've been struggling to find the time to blog and trying to figure out if this is worth my time, energy, and money. I have not come to any conclusion as of yet.

 I spent 4 days in Texas last weekend. It was a long drive but enjoyable. We stayed at a lakehouse in the very pretty hill country of Texas. I'm sure you can imagine how many amazing photos I took. The beautiful water, the sunrise and sunset, a cute family pic, pics of all the many buildings painted with a Texas flag on it, or even me eating a Kolache. Amazing right? Well they would have been. I took NO pictures. Not even a picture of my cute babies. I think the whole situation of why were there was a complete letdown that I just didn't care to take a single photo.

I don't know what's going on with me but I hope I get out of this funk and figure it out.

Do you ever look at the OMG from Yahoo webpage. The "What were they thinking" photos. There are some really bad ones this week. It's scary what some people wear. Check it out. You will get a good laugh.
