It was my husband bday on Saturday. We went on a day date to see Saving Mr. Banks. I thought it was a good movie and kinda made me tear up at the end. For dinner we went to Roadhouse. I had a burger. Not the best choice. I should have went with the petite filet mignon. Next time.

I've slacked quite a bit on taking pictures. It's just been so cold. I have issues. I don't blog during extreme heat and cold. I have been getting dressed. I worked on Thanksgiving so my parents and two siblings along with my little family had our thanksgiving feast yesterday. I'm really looking forward to it. I made two sides Cheesy Bacon Green Bean Casserole Pot Pie from Picky Palate and Gourmet Sweet Potato Classic.

Let me tell you about this skirt. My friend Emily sent it to me this week. She picked it up at a J.Crew sample sale a couple of months ago. She sent me a pic of it via text message before she purchased it. I actually passed. I was like eh. She is brilliant though and purchased it. I'm so glad she did because it's a stunning one of a kind piece. It's fuzzy, soft, and so perfect for me. If she finds more one of a kind pieces like this I'll be a happy girl!
