I bought this skirt a couple of weeks ago while DownEast Basics had their skirt sale. All skirts were $25. The regular price of this skirt is $35. I am very pleased with this skirt. It looks super expensive with the chiffon overlay and satin and has the high-low hemline which I LUV. I knew I wanted a mint/green button up to wear with it. I bought a white button up at ON and dyed it using vert green as I'd seen other bloggers do. It wasn't the color I wanted so I tried to dye the color out and do it again. Bad idea. Once you dye something just leave it!
So my next option.... Buy a green camp shirt from J.Crew :) and it's perfect.
I did waste $10 but learned a good lesson.

Happy Sunday friends!

I have had the same coffee table in my living room for about 5 years. Seems like I'm a 5 year girl. I need to change my furniture every 5 years. There are so many great ideas on pinterest and recycling used pallets would be perfect for a coffee table. I'm wanting something inbetween these two tables. Taller like the top, wide with wheels like the bottom and some shelves with hinged drawers so I can still keep my scrapbooking stuff there. I just have to wait till husband is finished with our bathroom project which is now going on 1 month. Basically what is left on that project now is tile shower and floor, finish cabinets, need countertops, new toliet, and two mirrors. It's coming along.

Have a great weekend!

Old Navy has some fun new fall arrivals. I'm excited for cooler weather because HONESTLY I can't handle this 100' heat anymore. I'm over it. I was watching Alycia's F21 Haul you tube video yesterday and she had bought a couple heart sweater which I adore and they have one at ON. Yay, and who can pass up this polka dot chambray. These are two winners in my book!

The other day I was looking at a style blog saying to myself  I love that shirt she is wearing. The blogger had a link to the shirt. I clicked on the link and to my surprise the shirt retails for $225! Then I said I won't be buying that. I'll just try to find something similar. First place I looked was Ross and Marshalls. No luck so the search continues however, it made me realize that it might be nice if I priced my clothes every once in a while.

Here's the breakdown for todays outfit.

top: J.Crew Factory $11(new, marked down & brought with 30% off coupon), jeans: GAP Outlet $25 (new, 30% off in store with 30% off coupon), bracelets: BRFS & J.Crew Factory $12 (old), sandels: Target $15 (old)

Final thought. I hate bad hair days!

I couldn't decide which picture I liked better.
I wore a similar outfit not so very long ago...

I decided to revisit because I wasn't very happy about how it turned out in the picture (also because I have no new clothes in my closet). In the mirror I liked it but in the photo I didn't. In the new picture ^ I'm wearing two things I bought last month. J.Crew necklace via eBay (obessed) and a pair of Nine West heels purchased at their outlet store. I added more accessories to my wrist and knotted the shirt instead of tucked.  Knotted is the way to go. I've seen it on other bloggers and pinterest but I wasn't sure if it would work for me. Another difference is my hair. It's boring and blah below but pretty and soft above. I love my grey heels but I think the cream/lace heels look better. Either necklace works. They are both pretty & pink! I look older in the pic below...probably because I was getting LIKE ZERO SLEEP!

Have you ever revisited and changed/updated an outfit? It was fun!

ALSO I have a coupon code for my readers for eShakti. 10% off your purchase. Use code AD20NER. Valid till July 31, 2012. Go shop, shop, shop!

First of all, ignore my hair it looks a little big.

Here is my complaint. I hate my funny knees. They are ugly.

The End.
