dinner date

Kurt and I went to a steakhouse last night. Grandma & Grandpa had the kids. It was nice to get out of the house for a date for the second time in two weeks. That's pretty amazing. I don't think we went on two dates alone during Ellary's first 12 months.

We had a yummy sampler appetizer with sauteed mushrooms, fried zuchinni and a few other things. Garlic bread and salad and then our main dishes. It was a great night.

After seeing this picture I have decided that I should not wear the flats together with the belt. It looks funny. I just bought this belt at the GAP Outlet. Love it, got one in bright pink too.

It's been a busy day and we are headed off for some yummy eats and a little shopping.

dye your eggs: saturday

So I totally just threw this on. We are dying eggs today. Not sure if this is smartest outfit to wear. I guess I'll put a tshirt over my clothes that I don't care about.

Did you notice I got color and a cut? In the past my hair hasn't held onto color. So we shall see what happens over the next week. Fingers crossed!

A month or so ago I was reading Uber Chic for Cheap. I've been reading Madeline's blog for a couple years now. She posted about a chiffon skirt from Old Navy. I liked it but wasn't sure if I would buy. Then about a week ago Old Navy was having a 30% off their entire site so I got this skirt for $12. I decided at that point it was a must have. Here's the inspiration for the outfit that Madeline found.
