well now to my post header... I'm very grateful that I am a mother and have two beautiful, loving, smart kids however (let the whining begin) I've never been crazy about Mother's Day. Seems like every mom is gussing about how she got breakfast in bed and she got the most amazing gifts and on and on. This is what I did yesterday. Did not get breakfast in bed, rather tagged teamed breakfast right before husband went to work. Went to church alone and tried to keep a 14 month old calm for 3 hours. Changed 2 dirty stinky diapers. Made lunch. Drove to inlaws with kids. Made dinner. Watched kids play outside after dinner. Drove home. Did a load of laundry and bathed kids.
Today I'd like to do nothing but I can't cause I'm a mom.

Every mom deserves a new mothers day dress or skirt to wear to church or wherever you might go on Mother's Day. Just a few I found from ModCloth.

Here's my ten-plus year old high low skirt. Although when I bought it that's not what it was called. It was called a fish tail skirt from the GAP (and it has pockets wooo). Can't believe I've held onto this skirt. What's in your closet that you've had for more than 10 years?
It was rough sitting through sacrament meeting today. I have a hard time keeping Ellary busy even with snacks, quiet books, bottle, pacifer, and some toys ugh. Even so I was able to listen to the talks.
One was about repentence. After we have sinned/made a mistake sometimes it's hard to get back to where we need to be cause we don't know how.
Quote by Elaine S. Dalton
If I were going the wrong way in the middle of a marathon, and I realized my mistake, would I keep going? I would immediately turn around! Why? Because I would have lost valuable time and precious energy and strength, and it would be much harder for me to finish the marathon because of this extra distance and added time. I wouldn’t stay on the wrong course because no matter how long I ran there, I would never reach the finish line.
And yet for many who have made a moral mistake, a little voice keeps saying: “You blew it. You can’t change. No one will ever know anyway.” To you I would say, Don’t believe it. “Satan wants you to think that you cannot repent, but that is absolutely not true” (For the Strength of Youth [2001], 30).
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Last night I went to a friends house for a pampered chef party. It was super fun and nice to be with out a child for a couple hours not to mention spend some time with other FSBM members. I bought a cookbook, nylon spoon, and nylon turner. GREAT NIGHT!!
