I found this in my inbox. There are some really great tops and
even a few skirts and dresses to choose from. I really like the
Smell the Roses Top. They also have accessories and their swim
collection is coming soon. Can't wait for that!!!

I was reading one of my favorite blogs. Uber Chic for Cheap, and she posted a blog that she liked. Freshly Picked by Susan which has tutorials and lots of other stuff. There was a tutorial on a simple skirt. I went to Joann's Saturday evening. Had a hard time finding any cute fabric but finally I did. I made it that night. Totally messed it up and then fixed it Sunday morning just in time to wear it to church. I am happy with it. I really love the avocado green color. I thought I would get compliments on it but I didn't. Oh well. I think it's cute. I wore it with a white blouse. Brown boots and a bracelet.

It's been a long week for me. My child has been sick and is still sick.
I found some pretty necklaces at Charlotte Russe to keep me happy.
Prices on these four necklaces are $6.99 - $9.50. I have never bought
a necklace from Charlotte Russe so I'm not sure about their quality.

I like the color pink but I like it more when it's V day. As a young girl, like most I'm sure, I really liked pink. It was my favorite color. As I got older I dispised the color. To me it represented young or girly. I didn't want to go grow up (I still don't, some things never change) and I didn't want to be girly. So for many years I refused to wear anything pink. I finally changed my mind when I was 18 years old and coming back home from my first year of college. I told my friend Lisa (Hi Lisa) that I was going to buy everything I saw in pink. That didn't happen but I did buy one pink tee from the Gap. It was one of my favorite shirts. It looked perfect with my pale skin and my blue eyes. And that is where my like for pink and {CLOTHES}!!!!! started. These are some of my favorite things PINK on Mod Cloth. I {love} the necklaces.

to spend on clothes this is what I would wear today. I know it's obsurd but I can dream. The shirt is $58 from Anthro, bag $250 Marc New York from Piperlime, sandels $75 Michael Antonio from piperlime, jeans $98 Miss Me from The Buckle. The shirt and the bag... I wish I wish. The chiffon flowers and 100% leather in peacock color, {SO PRETTY}.

What do you think? What would you buy if you had $500 to spend on an outfit for one day?

I have tried before to do a post of a look for less. I have yet to be successful intill NOW. Here's my first look for less. I know it's pretty simple, I'll get better.
White Tee with Silk Trim Neckline

Short Sleeve Luxe Tee BR $35.00

Fancy Tee DEB $16.99

They are made from different fabric. The BR Tee is Rayon/Cotton/Polyester. The DEB tee is cotton slub. With that said, I probably will still buy the DEB tee. I'd wear it with a dark jean as shown in these two pics, a bracelet, one of these skinny belts , new from Shade. 100% leather for only $10.50, need I say more...NO (so cute), and a fun flat.

I found two completely drool worthy pieces. You may think the skirt is to funky but that's why I {LOVE} it. DUH! Sometimes you need a little funky fun. I love the brush stroke look. AND the dress WOW. Black embroidiery on linen blend fabric. SO cute. These two items are total opposites. The skirt is party and the dress is polite. I love them both. I would buy them if... they were long enough. (I am bawling right now.) The skirt is 18.5 in long and the dress 34 in long. Definitely not long enough for me on either. I need my skirts to be 20-21 inches and dresses 39-40 inches.
What is great is that both are made in the USA. I was reading a blog the other day, can't remember which one, but the blogger went through her closet to find how many items were made in this country. She didn't have many. I probably wouldn't have many either. SO just remember buy USA.

Do you like these? Do you try to buy MADE IN THE USA?

A CHINO! I went on a hunt looking for chinos. I was {super} surprised to only find two that I liked. Just the plain but cute chino, not cropped or cargo'ed out with pockets. I heart chinos. They are comfortable, cute, dress them up or down. Wear them with flats or heels. Very Versatile. Like I said...can't resist. J.Crew Favorite Fit Everyday Chino

Who loves this soft violet blouse from J. Crew? I DO! I DO! It's dreamy. Here's what J. Crew says about this blouse "We designed this blouse with butterflies in mind. An organic, feminine take on texture in a flattering cap-sleeve silhouette with hand-cut detail." I {love} the texture. So soft and sweet and such a perfect color.

I miss the days when I got the catolog and attached to it was the coupon spend $80 and get $20 off. I hate it that they only do sales on clearance items and that J. Crew only does free shipping with you buy $150. J. Crew as a company is doing well. Why not do $5 dollar shipping like The Buckle or $7 like Gap Inc. or why not do codes for 20% off regular priced items. It's hard to be a faithful J. Crew shopper when tops like this are $79.50. Please J. Crew give us a break!
