Today is a bum day. I am wishing I was skinny again. So much cute stuff this season. Tops, skirts, sweaters. I do want the baby I do but I want to wear normal clothes not pregnancy clothes. Shoes are all I got for now. These are especially cute. Right in my price range. Only $275. I will be looking for a knock off.

So the reason I haven't posted is because...

I'm expecting!!! Yay. I have been so tired. I'm getting most of my energy back. My belly is growing and I can't wear all my cute stuff anymore. I have been looking everywhere for pretty maternity clothes and I really haven't liked anything. I think maternity clothes are better than when I had
my first child but still they don't really get me excited.

Here's a link my mom sent me. I'll have to make this for my new addition.

Yesterday at work I was looking through my emails. I got one from Piperlime anouncing
Rachel Zoe's lasted picks, which included nudes, pales, and blushes. That was fine but then I scrolled down a little farther and saw a zebra print heel. Isn't it great? Except it's $300.
 Kate Spade.
So I went searching for more afforable zebra print heels.
These can be found at Dillards for $89.95

And this pair at Amazon for $21.30 and it has
a cute suede ruffle on it.

I hadn't looked @ Modcloth for a while. Look at all these great items I just found.
I love all of them. Which ones do you like? Can you tell I like details on my clothes?

How I like to spend my summer... party, party, party. This is a late OOTD (saturday) but wanted to share it anyway. It looks boring from the picture. The shirt has a ruffled bid neck  it's white and blue striped, khaki crops, yellow flats, and shell bracelet. It seems to be messing something. What does it need?

Shirt: Gap
Crops: J. Crew
Flats: AE
Bracelet: Gifted

I'm not a big fan of Gap. I think their clothes are lack luster, boring and have been done over and over and over (I could say over about a billion times). I want them to step out of the box. Make their clothes fun and desirable again. When I first moved to California I would shop at the gap every week. It was my favorite place to go. They always had good deals and great looking clothes and then they decided to get back to their roots... jean, khakis and white blouses. OK SERIOUSLY could you be anymore boring! They clothes they were selling were appealing to younger shoppers like me. Younger shops (no career yet) don't have funds like more mature people. They wanted their older clientele back. It was extrememly depressing for me. This was quite a few years ago now. I'm over it but secretely wishing Gap would return to the store I once loved. As much as I would like to be a Melrose Ave, Robertson Blvd, or Sunset Blvd shopper I am not. So it's always a happy day when I find cute stuff at the Gap. Check out a few I have added to my wishlist.

Update: You can make the striped top look like J. Crew's by adding sequins on the blue stripes like this top.
